The Ger Keane fun run was a fund raiser to help raise funds to make Ger’s Ballycasey home accessible for wheelchair use.

            On the day the sun shone brightly, a good omen for what turned out to be a fantastic show of community solidarity. Festivities continued with a terrific evening’s entertainment in the Shannon Knights where a barbecue and refreshments were available for the runners and walkers.

In all €6,000 was raised. Ger, Yvonne and Adam wish to thank all who took part in the run, those who gave donations, sponsored prizes and supplied their services free of charge.
